WME Agent Matthew Harvey Joins MVE Repping Emma Bunton, Afua Hirsch

EXCLUSIVE: A WME agent who previously played a pivotal role in the launch of Joe Sugg and Caspar Lee’s MVE is moving to the UK agency.

Matthew Harvey is joining MVE after eight years at WME to take on a Talent Director role.

At WME, Harvey repped the likes of Tilly Ramsay, Emma Bunton, Nigel Ng and Afua Hirsch, the latter of whom he continues to manage, with new signings set to be announced soon. Prior to WME, the veteran agent ran his own boutique agency, MHA Management, working with talent that included Ricky Gervais, Tim Minchin and Katherine Ryan.

As agent to MVE co-founders Sugg and Lee, Harvey played a pivotal role in the launch of what was then Margravine Management (now MVE) during his time at WME. MVE represents talent mainly in the digital space.

Minnie Harding, Head of Talent UK and Dean Ondrus-Coulson, Senior Vice President at MVE, said Harvey’s hiring “signals our continued interest in hybrid talent who blur the lines between digital influence and mainstream success.”

Harvey added: “This is a rare opportunity to help shape the next era of talent representation.”

MVE has been busy hiring in recent months, bringing in the likes of Talent Director Meisha Kelly from InterTalent. The agency has also been co-signing talent with WME of late including Love Island star Uma Jammeh and TikTok creator Ellie Evelyn.

Today has seen a big shakeup of the UK agency scene, with Deadline revealing in just the past few minutes that four of Hamilton Hodell’s five partners have moved to B-Side, taking talent including Naomi Ackie, Aaron Pierre, Daisy Edgar-Jones and Emilia Clarke with them.
