Star-Studded Netflix Movie A House of Dynamite Gets Thrilling Teaser Trailer

Netflix has shared the first teaser trailer for A House of Dynamite, the upcoming thriller drama led by Emmy nominee Idris Elba and Golden Globe nominee Rebecca Ferguson. The movie is scheduled to arrive in select U.S. theaters on October 10, followed by its streaming debut on October 24.

“When a single, unattributed missile is launched at the United States, a race begins to determine who is responsible and how to respond,” reads the synopsis.

What happens in the A House of Dynamite teaser trailer?

The video provides the audience with a first look at the movie’s star-studded cast, including Ferguson as Captain Olivia Walker, Gabriel Basso as Deputy National Security Advisor Jake Baerington, Jared Harris as Secretary of Defense Reid Baker, Anthony Ramos as Major Daniel Gonzalez, Tracy Letts as General Anthony Brody, and Jason Clarke as Admiral Mark Miller. They will be the key people who will be dealing with the incoming nuclear missile attack on the United States.

The teaser trailer previews how they’ll respond and uncover who’s responsible for this attack. Even though he’s part of the main cast, we only got a brief glimpse of Elba as the President of the United States. Additional cast members include Moses Ingram, Jonah Hauer-King, Greta Lee, Malachi Beasley, Brian Tee, Brittany O’Grady, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Willa Fitzgerald, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Kyle Allen, and Kaitlyn Dever.

A House of Dynamite is directed by Kathryn Bigelow from a screenplay written by Noah Oppenheim. This will serve as the acclaimed filmmaker’s feature directorial comeback. It is executive-produced by Brian Bell and Sarah Bremner, with Greg Shapiro, Bigelow, Jeremy Hindle, Sumaiya Kaveh, and Oppenheim serving as producers.
