WoW Legion Remix Infinite Echoes update improves catch-up with new currency, item level, and rewards

Published on:

It’s patch day for North America, and with it, comes some new World of Warcraft updates. The final phase of the Legion Remix roadmap is now live, and we have the Infinite Echoes update.

The recent patch introduces a new upgrade currency and concludes the storyline as the event prepares to wind down. The update launches a new progression system using Flawless Threads of Time, which replaces Motes of a Broken Time and upgrades gear to item level 779.

So, if you’ve been power leveling, there’s now one last item level tier to really grind those scaling M+ dungeons or smash the Mythic Raids.

Players can now convert excess motes and threads into Fragmented Mementos through Erus’s Scrapping Service, sold in stacks of ten. The update also introduces Timerunner’s Mayhem, a stacking experience bonus that grants +3% experience per stack (up to 10 stacks, lasting 12 hours each) earned through Infinite Research quests.

Add on the WoW Anniversary and XP awards anyway, and power leveling is even better as you prepare for class mount rewards or Midnight.

WoW Legion Remix Infinite getting new quests and increased loot drops

There’s two new quests from Moratari at the Infinite Bazaar – “Until Our Next Hello” and “Out of Time.” They provide closure to the Infinite storyline for players who completed introductory quests. The Farewell to the Infinites event allows players to burn Blank Doomsayer Pamphlets at the Infinite Bonfire as a farewell type quest (even though you still have another month of playtime left for Remix).

For those enjoying world content, there are Lost Legion Infernals now spawning as rare elite enemies. They spawn throughout the Broken Isles, guarding new loot from forgotten timelines. Six world bosses rotate every 18 hours across the Broken Isles, each offering unique rewards and fresh challenges rather than the rotation they had previously. It’s a way to accelerate those big chunks of rewards fairly easily each day.

The update accelerates loot drops and increases Timewarped Obelisk spawns across the event. Players can obtain Flawless Threads of Time by scrapping max-level gear in addition to earning them through regular gameplay as a means to get better gear much faster.

The update is there for players still grinding to get even stronger, and offering players still grinding some better opportunities to catch up at the last minute. There’s plenty of bronze, class mounts, and even player housing decor from the order halls now Player Housing is out.

No matter what you want, there’s still time, and it’s now easier to do so.
