Like Hollow Knight before it, the game is also packed full of secrets, secret locations, and places to discover that you can easily miss, and that’s where a map comes in.
Does Silksong have a map?
Silksong has a map. You don’t get it from the off, but it becomes active after mooching along the main story path, so you shouldn’t have too much actual trouble getting to the point where it unlocks.
Once you locate the merchant called Shakra, you can purchase maps for various places as well as perks that make mapping easier. These will cost you rosary beads.

When you zoom in, the map itself isn’t that sharp, but if you are viewing on a mobile device as you play, you probably won’t notice.
So there are three maps to get you going on your journey. Of course, you will still need the reflexes of a ninja to get anywhere close to completing the game, but at least you will know where you died, and died again.
