My honest thoughts after two weeks with the iPhone Air

Published on:

Been rocking the iPhone Air for two weeks now, coming from an iPhone 13 Pro. The 13 Pro was already more than enough for me, but hey, when you get a free phone, you don’t say no.

First thing, I seriously love this thing. Every time I pull it out in public, someone asks about it. It’s like I’m walking around with a celebrity in my pocket. The design just grabs attention, and I can’t lie, I kinda love that.

Battery life? Way better than I expected. I’m on Spotify, Reddit, Instagram, WhatsApp, Mail, and YouTube all the time. With my 13 Pro I had to charge every night, but now I easily get two days per charge. No battery anxiety, no running for a charger halfway through the day.

The screen size is spot on. The Max models are too big for me, but this one feels just right. Big enough to enjoy watching stuff, small enough that I can still use it with one hand without feeling like I’m holding a tablet.

Camera’s been great for my use. I’m not out here zooming in on birds or trying to shoot cinematic videos, but for regular photos, it’s awesome. The front camera is where I really noticed the upgrade. Selfies look clean, FaceTime looks crisp, and it just feels more polished overall.

Speakers? Honestly, I don’t get why people complain. They’re totally fine. I mostly use AirPods or a Bluetooth speaker anyway, but even for FaceTime or random YouTube videos, they sound perfectly decent.

I get that people who want all the Pro bells and whistles, or hardcore mobile gamers, might not be impressed. But for my day-to-day use, this phone feels like a legit upgrade. Everything’s smooth, fast, and reliable.

I watched a few YouTube reviews before getting it, and honestly, my experience has been the complete opposite. Maybe I got lucky, but for how I use my phone, this thing is perfect. It just works, and I actually enjoy using it.
