I finally took the plunge and decided to stop using my base model 32GB IPhone 7 yesterday, upgrading to a 256GB 16Pro.

I still felt a little guilty getting rid of the 7 as it could call and text and surf the web just fine, but it had gotten to the point where I had less than 2 hours of active use from a full 100% charge and couldn’t use many apps due to IOS incompatibility. Plus, I only had room for maybe 2-3 apps at any given time due to my photos, base software and Spotify content taking up nearly the entire storage capacity of the phone. So far loving my decision.

1. I have always used Otterbox cases to keep my phone safe for life, but don’t like the 16Pro offering from them. Any recommendations for highly protective drop proof cases? I’m currently using a Speck Presidio Grip 2 + screen protector.
2. I’m still getting familiar with the new phone. Any customization options/features that I will find particularly helpful coming from a 7?
