17 Pro plagued with cellular connectivity issues…

tl;dr Cellular connectivity issues plague my new 17 Pro. Apple support has been unhelpful so far.
17 Pro on the left, 13 Pro on the right.
Same carrier, Same band, Same cell. Very different SINR0 and SINR1 values. What does it mean ?

[Longer version. ]

I upgraded from a 13 Pro to a 17 Pro and I love the device for most part. The cellular connectivity however has been quite frustrating. I lose data connectivity frequently and toggling the airplane mode on and off brings it back to life for some time. This is exacerbated when I'm out and about / in an Uber etc and my data connection just dies.

Talked to Apple support, they ran some diagnostics and told me everything was peachy. I went to the Apple store today and again, was told there's nothing wrong with the hardware or software and that it's environment.

Despite telling them that I don't have the same issue on my older phone, or on other devices in the household.

Here's a side by side of the field test between the iPhone 13 Pro and the 17 Pro . As you can see the SINR0 and SINR1 numbers on the device on the left (17 Pro) are very different from those on the right (13 Pro). Is this relevant to what I'm observing ?
